Finished Bathroom — Westchester County, NY
Luxury walk-in shower with frameless glass enclosure, Calacatta marble large-format tile, hex mosaic floor, built-in bench, oil-rubbed bronze fixtures, and custom wood floating shelves.
During Construction — The Process
Proper waterproofing, cement board substrate, and correct shower pan liner installation are what separate a renovation that lasts 20 years from one that fails in 2. WHI does it right.
Before — Original Bathroom Condition
The original bathroom had an old fiberglass tub with tile surround showing years of wear. The client wanted a modern, spa-style walk-in shower. The existing tub was removed completely and the space was rebuilt from the studs.
About This Project
This complete bathroom renovation in Westchester County transformed an outdated bathtub/tile combo into a spa-quality walk-in shower. The project involved full demolition down to the studs, proper waterproofing, and a high-end tile and fixture package selected by the homeowner.
The result is a frameless glass enclosure with large-format Calacatta marble porcelain tile walls, a hex mosaic floor, built-in shower niche, bench seat, rain shower head, and oil-rubbed bronze fixtures throughout — finished with custom natural wood floating shelves.
